Job Title: CNC Machine Maintenance Technician
Job Description
+ Troubleshoots, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
+ Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
+ Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
+ Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
+ Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
+ Records times and problems in equipment logs.
+ Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.
+ Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
+ Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
+ Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans.
+ Maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.
+ Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
5 – 7 years related experience
3-5 years’ experience using Mazak, Makino, GF Machines, Mikron, Okamoto, Studer, Kellenberger, Yasda, Roeders, System 3R automation.
High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training.
CNC Repair experience
Shift
+ 1st shift 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
