Job Title: Building Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine mechanical maintenance and repetitive repair work on buildings and building support systems. This role involves making necessary adjustments and repairs to address operating difficulties, replacing parts prone to failure, and ensuring all building functions meet acceptable quality levels. Daily tasks include setting up building support systems, performing blow-downs of boilers and compressors, conducting visual inspections, cleaning building support equipment, servicing roof top HVAC units, and handling facility snow removal. Additional responsibilities include welding, performing preventative maintenance on machines, troubleshooting electrical systems, running outlets, changing light fixtures, and plumbing tasks such as replacing pipes.
