Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker and contribute to our fast-paced manufacturing processes. Your main tasks will include running a down ender, using a shrink wrap machine to prepare production for shipment, utilizing an RF scanner, palletizing production, and banding steel coils. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high speed of production, labeling and tagging materials, and assisting with various tasks such as shear line help and slitter head setups. Training will be provided for forklift operations, shear line assistance, and other machine operations. You will also be involved in completing production reports and utilizing measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.

Hard Skills

+ Packaging and banding

+ Steel or fast-paced manufacturing experience

+ Basic computer knowledge

+ Experience with RF scanners

+ Ability to use micrometers and calipers

Soft Skills

+ Ability to keep up with production pace

+ Mechanical aptitude

+ Willingness to learn and undergo training

+ Attention to detail

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in UNIVERSITY PARK, Illinois.
