Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to manage and handle operations involving propane quad forklifts. Responsibilities include picking customer orders from high locations, stacking them on pallets, wrapping pallets, staging orders, and loading trucks. Candidates will frequently lift up to 50 lbs and will be required to change propane tanks on forklifts. Flexibility to work extended hours, early mornings, and some Saturdays during busy seasons is necessary.

Hard Skills

+ 1+ year of sit down propane quad forklift experience

+ RF Scanner Experience

+ 1+ year of order picking experience

+ Experience moving product into and out of high five racks

Soft Skills

+ Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment

+ Comfortable with physical labor involving lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Lenox, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a large warehouse with a team of around 6 employees, including order pickers, forklift operators, a supervisor, and a lead. The warehouse is not climate controlled, which means it can be cold during the winter and hot in the summer. The facility primarily stores pipe fittings.
