Principal Business Process Analyst

As a Principal Business Process Analyst, you will be a key member of Ecolab's Enterprise Data program and tasked with providing a globally cloud-hosted repository of business and performance data from a variety of sources: SAP and other ERP systems, Master Data Management (MDM) systems, regional and international enterprise data stores, and internal solution support systems. This data is vital for enabling Ecolab's various businesses to create insightful analytics for the monitoring and enhancement of business and customer outcomes for our Commercial Digital Solutions and One Customer Program. This position entails business and technical leadership transcending the operational enablement and digital strategies of Ecolab.
The role will lead the business analysis effort to capture, clarify, and manage business system requirements for the analytics environment. This role identifies, documents, and validates business system requirements, data, capabilities, and data products used by the technical team to provide functionality necessary to meet business objectives. This role will collaborate with other global technology teams to ensure alignment to enterprise data standards.

Position Details:
Location: St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL
What You Will Do:
Work with our business stakeholders, product owners and downstream consumers to ensure the data roadmap is aligned to their goals and objectives.
Lead/facilitate meetings with business and technical resources.
Prepare presentations both containing business and/or technical topics.
Business Process - work with the team to define and document complex business requirements with high level analysis and rapid prototyping.
Provide data/business analysis support to the development team.
Clarify priorities for the business and details of the deliverables (including rough estimation)
Be a Self-Leader who demonstrates the ability to serve as a strong team member with solid communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Perform and deliver key thought leadership in areas of data engineering: modelling, integration, big data and cloud solution design, data warehousing, and data discovery.
Engage architecture and operational teams to collaboratively deliver strategic roadmaps for enterprise and divisional data reporting and analytic solutions.
Collaborate as data expert for assisting enterprise business platforms to integrate with global data solution strategy.
Contribute to the creation of processes for improving data quality across the enterprise.
