Job Title:Vice President Relationship Banking, Digital Assets

Location:IL - Chicago LPO

What you'll do:As a Vice President; Relationship Banker Digital Assets, you will support day-to-day banking activities from Business development through delivery of the banking services necessary to service our digital asset/cryptocurrency clients. You will leverage your banking expertise to enhance Western Alliance Bank portfolio of services. To accomplish this, you will partner with the Digital Asset Banking Team to communicate and execute the strategy to grow and service clients within this emerging market.

What we are looking for:
Develops new business channels for the Digital Asset Banking team in the digital asset market
Meet with digital asset banking customers to identify their needs and collect information for banking services, including credit applications
Interview applicants to define banking eligibility and establish banking needs
Reject banking applicants and explain deficiencies to applicants
Operate in compliance with laws and regulations

What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in finance or a similar field
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a financial institution in a direct banking function and/or digital asset market
Solid understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset market
Highly proficient in banking software and client presentation skills
Solid understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
