Overview

Pay range for this position is $28.03 - $39.85/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY: Reports to the Medical Director with oversight by the department Manager, performs duties of the office nurse for patients of all ages. Administers and analyzes results of infant sleep studies and home apnea monitoring. Oversees and directs patient care activities in order to ensure high quality patient care according to patient care policies and procedures. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients serviced by the department.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The job incumbent is required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served on their assigned unit(s). This requires that the incumbent demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.
Work requires a professional level of knowledge of nursing practice and theory at a level that generally can be acquired by completion and graduation from a two year training program at an accredited School of Nursing.
Current State license as a Registered Nurse required.
CPR certification is required.
Work requires proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and the like.
Work requires 3 to 6 months unit-specific orientation and on-the-job training to learn department/unit policies, procedures and work routines.
