Job Description
Senior Associate, Corporate Tax - Financial Services (Multiple Positions), PwC US Tax LLP, Chicago, IL. Help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties. Support clients with the complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. Working with new and existing tax technologies and experimenting with tax digitization solutions.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, or a related field, plus 1 year of related work experience.
Must have at least 1 year of experience with each of the following:
• Assisting with reviewing and preparing allocations and tax returns such as Form 1065 and Form 1120 including forms and schedules such as Schedule K-1, K-2, K-3, 8804, and/or 1042;
• Working and creating international tax forms and footnotes (Form 5471, 8865, 926, PFIC) to ensure full foreign fillings and disclosure in compliance with US tax Law; and
• Preparing modeling results through leveraging data visualization softwares such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% required.
