Job Description

General Assignment: This role works on various administrative functions and operates in a professional office environment. Routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, this role assists various teams with administrative project work or general office operations duties.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Using programs from Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word and PowerPoint and other specialized software used in maintaining databases, forms and documents, etc.
Performing research online
Transcribing various forms of information and storing it in a computer-based file
Running various types of office machinery such as fax machines, copiers, and printers
Managing office documentation using computer-based documentation software

Qualifications

Technical Skills:
Some knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook Calendar, and/or office computer
The ability to prioritize and multi-task is important

Soft Skills:
Must be able to communicate with people at all levels within the organization
Must project a professional attitude with an outgoing personality and enjoy interacting with people
Must be dependable, and punctual
Must be able to work independently and as a team member
Well-organized
Ability to work under pressure

Education/Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred
High school degree required
