Job Description:

Participate in daily warehouse activities, including the shipments to customers, vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.
Receiving incoming material, processing in multiple ERP systems
Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and the SA tool.
Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain regular attendance.
Willing to work overtime, when required

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and five years warehouse or related experience.
Dangerous goods certification, preferred

Experience in:
Strong shipping and logistics experience
Shipping both international and domestic.
Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
Understanding 3 party carriers eg: KWE, Morrison etc
Understanding of Invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, EEI filing
Able to lift up to 50 lbs/No previous issues with back or any type of lifting issues.
Operation of a forklift
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
Very customer service oriented

Ability to:
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Operate warehouse equipment.
Lift, move, sort and store objects.
Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software.
Work independently with little direction.
Observe health and safety regulations.

Physical demands:
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires bending, squatting, climbing, reaching.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds

Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).
