Job Description
Summary:
This role is responsible for providing day to day engineering support by creating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving processes.
Essential Functions:
- Support engineering by providing technical assistance and solutions when problems are encountered in manufacturing.
- Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment and fixtures are kept in good working order. Maintain/repair as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
- Improve testing procedures and document best practices. Perform training as needed.
- Conduct and participate in measurement variation and alignment studies.
- Ensure that the labs have the appropriate inventory of consumable items. Procure as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 2+ years of engineering or technical experience
- Hands-on material testing experience
