Your Job

We are seeking a strategic, driven, and agile finance professional to maximize the return on investment of new product development opportunities for our global Copper Solutions business unit, which is currently experiencing significant growth as part of the broader Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.
This role will work closely with our marketing, engineering, and plant finance teams, as well as our business unit and Molex leadership. Focus will be to help the business optimize capital investment decisions, provide insights and actionable recommendations to maximize performance across our 120 product families, and support the overall BU commercial and financial strategy.
This role is hybrid (3 days in office/week and will be based out of our Lisle headquarters, with one direct report.

What You Will Do

Work with our business, operations and plant stakeholders on new product development capital investments, providing insights and actionable recommendations on how to maximize returns, and secure approval for required capital
Utilize strong business acumen to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and profit growth across the new product development and capital investment lifecycle
Support our BU capital lifecycle management process
Guide stakeholders on correct financial treatment of new product development activities; support monthly close and forecast reporting related to product development, capital investment
Support other ad hoc analysis as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree or higher
8+ years of work experience

What Will Put You Ahead

Capital investment, commercial strategy, plant costing, other strategic analytical experience or a degree in Finance, Economics or similar
Highly skilled in data analysis, especially using and interpreting data for decision-making
Experience working with international stakeholders and manufacturing plants
Proven track record of transforming business through actionable insights
Manufacturing and/or cable/connector experience
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Power Point
Comfortable working with SAP, Business Warehouse, OneStream, and other Enterprise Resource Planning applications
