About the role

The purpose of this position is to provide key leadership, fiscal responsibility, client care, and contractual obligations related to the global Master Service Agreement. Additional responsibilities include planning, extraordinary service delivery, implementation of training, coordinate and manage all facility related operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and workforce development programs for a regional portfolio of manufacturing plants.

What you’ll do

+ Responsible for regional business unit’s financial performance in an account.

+ Leads staff, including hiring, training, personnel development.

+ Leads all aspects and scope of work for assigned facilities and responsible for development of operating budgets.

+ Leadership and customer concern for client, operations and maintenance issues, fixing and problem solving as required.

+ Recommends/implements improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis and develop/maintain effective maintenance and safety procedure manuals.

+ Oversight of maintenance efforts with outside contractors, personnel and technicians.

+ Maintains ongoing communication with clients, owners, facility management team and vendors.

+ Assist in solicitation and acquisition of new management contracts and account growth opportunities.

+ Regional critical issue and response to emergency situations and client concerns.

+ Ensures compliance with applicable codes, requisitions, government agencies and company directives as relates to regional operations.

+ Provides formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate’s recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.

+ Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.

What you’ll need:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university and a minimum of four years’ experience and/or training preferred.

+ Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety laws.

+ Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.

+ Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
