This hybrid role will require the incumbent candidate to come into a local Cigna office 3 full days per week. The incumbent candidate can be based out of the Bloomfield, CT, Pheonix, AZ, Denver, CO, Sunrise, FL, Lake Mary, FL, Tampa, FL, Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, Scottsdale, AZ, Franklin, TN, Houston TX, Atlanta, GA, Overland Park, KS, Clayton, MO, Newton, MA, Nashville, TN, Seattle, WA, Walnut Creek, CA, Glendale, CA, Irvine, CA, McLean VA, Richmond, VA Philadelphia, PA, Independence, OH, New York, NY, Morristown, NJ or Chattanooga, TN office.**

External applicants must have prior Cigna Implementation experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Implementation Manager – U3000 on the Client Operations Team has the following key responsibilities:

Installation:

+ Manage account installation for an assigned book of business for clients within the Select Segment

+ Lead an internal team of subject matter experts within Cigna to execute overall strategy for client

+ Present implementation plans to sales, clients and brokers for new and/or renewing business

+ Partner with the Sales Executive to obtain & maintain benefit source documents including Benefit Summaries and SBCs and other critical information necessary for account set-up

+ Facilitate critical Installation meetings with Sales and/or Client to understand and execute on client’s plan interpretation and Cigna’s service with respect to benefit plans and administrative capabilities

+ Coordination of Installation including work order build, structure build, Call readiness, Claim readiness, Eligibility, ID Card setup, Banking and Billing

+ Ensure technical experts are introduced to client as appropriate and partner with internal matrix partners to ensure timely and accurate implementations

+ Ensure effective coordination between internal partners (i.e. Benefit Access, Plan Automation, BPL, BPC, Eligibility, Structure, ID Card Unit, etc.)

+ Manage Implementation calendar and project management tools to ensure timely and accurate installation

+ Coordination of ePro/CIT Prep Tool, Benefit Summaries, SBCs and structure documents with Work Order team as applicable

+ Surface, negotiate and own resolution of all issues relative to implementation, process, plan design and timing of deliverables

+ Coordinate/Educate functional areas on processes and workflows critical to install

+ Serve as internal liaison for all functional teams during case activity to resolve issues

+ Facilitate partnership with vendors and consult on client intent, consistency and accuracy through the downstream setup process

+ Manages issues through completion and owns resolution

+ Support with segment wide projects/testing (ex. Aligned groups to support Vista updates/changes)

+ Act as a mentor for developing IMs within the market, supporting ongoing growth, actively share knowledge with the team

+ Manage accounts with complex client relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

+ High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

+ 3+ years of healthcare background/knowledge including a solid understanding of Cigna administrative and benefit capabilities highly preferred

+ Strong analytical skills to effectively problem-solve complex issues to resolution

+ Expert focus on establishing matrix partner relationships and working collaboratively while managing expectations for mutually acceptable solutions

+ Prior Implementation Manager experience preferred

+ Strong technical savvy to include significant experience with software and system-based applications to manage book of business installation activities and business requirements

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels and functions within the organization

+ High level of initiative and self-directedness to successfully manage multiple, divergent priorities and deadlines

+ Demonstrated success in negotiations and ability to influence internal/external constituencies.

+ Exhibit motivational skills in a fast-paced environment

+ Demonstrated interpersonal skills

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 62,600 – 104,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
