The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and location. This position is bonus eligible.

CNO Financial Group is seeking a Business Review Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert in BLC and BLAS paperwork, processing, procedures, and platform applications. This role involves managing a system for identifying, analyzing, and resolving Not In Good Order (NIGO) paperwork. The position requires a high level of service, interaction, and support for our Financial Representatives (FRs) and Financial Advisors (FAs).

As a Business Review Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

+ Conduct pre-principal reviews of all submitted transfers to proprietary annuity products involving securities.

+ Identify NIGO documentation and coordinate, troubleshoot, and resolve NIGOs with FAs and FRs, including proactive outreach, explanation, training, follow-up, and resolution.

+ Implement a standardized follow-up system to resolve NIGOs that is measurable and controllable.

+ Create and deliver training sessions to enhance the operational knowledge base of FRs and FAs.

+ Report NIGO results to the Supervisory Team and collaborate to develop improvement plans.

+ Field incoming calls and emails from FRs and FAs to resolve issues before business is submitted for processing.

+ Act as a liaison between the field and the home office.

+ Review and update procedures to enhance the field experience.

  • Work with support staff to improve office efficiencies.

The Business Review Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

+ Work independently, set priorities, manage deadlines, and function effectively in a team environment.

+ Handle broker/dealer and investment advisory paperwork, processes, and procedures proficiently; understand field sales experience and processes.

+ Communicate paperwork requirements effectively through strong oral and written communication skills.

+ Demonstrate effective follow-up skills, maintain high service levels, and exhibit strong empathy.

+ Utilize working knowledge of broker/dealer and investment advisory platforms and applications.

+ Operate efficiently in a highly fast-paced environment.

+ Driven to complete assigned cases and tasks.

+ Committed to customer satisfaction and collaborative teamwork.

+ Experience with Pershing’s NetX360 and Bankers Front Office (BFO) platforms is preferred.

What you’ll need:

+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent 4 years of experience.

+ 5 years of relative work experience as FA/FR sales assistant, back-office operations or service operations associate in a brokerage or investment advisory business.

+ Preferably possess FINRA Series 7/66 or equivalent certifications, or be able to obtain them within 6 months.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be asked to travel varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
