Robert Half is hiring for an Accounts Receivable Specialist! Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in cash application? Our client, a leading company in the Quad Cities, is looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team on a full-time contract basis. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

Main Duties:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Prepping Incoming Customer Checks:

Prepare incoming customer checks for electronic submission to lockbox location.

Perform daily batching and 10-key calculation of each batch total.

Confirm all checks have been scanned and processed.

Managing Virtual Credit Card Payments:

Handle incoming virtual credit card payments via the Outlook mailbox folder.

Move emails to a Bill trust online Portal mailbox and ensure each is processed by comparing the email receipt in Outlook to the credit card processed within the same day.

Balance daily credit card transactions.

Posting ACH Payments:

Post ACH payments in SAP system.

Requirements:?

Experience:

Prior knowledge and experience of cash application, preferably with larger companies.

Skills:

Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally interact and build relationships with colleagues.

Ability to effectively collaborate and work in cross-functional teams.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft software applications; SAP experience is a plus.

Strict attention to procedures and guidelines.

Strong organizational skills with the willingness and ability to multi-task.

Flexible work schedule (potential for overtime at month-end).

Punctuality and low absentee history.

Calm demeanor under high workload.
