Humana is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to join our team that is building a Digital Health Platform for many of our omni-channel applications. The Lead Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Lead Solutions Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead Solutions Architect:

+ Translates business needs into technical systems solutions.

+ Builds omni-channel experiences following MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and Headless) architectural pattern.

+ Builds solutions like patterns with great visibility (Logging, Monitoring and Tracing) into the system.

+ Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system.

+ Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

+ Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

+ Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

+ 8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field

+ Prior project lead experience

+ Strong expertise in building omni-channel experiences following MACH (Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and Headless) architectural pattern.

+ Strong expertise in building solutions like patterns with great visibility (Logging, Monitoring and Tracing) into the system.

+ Strong expertise in software development and cloud infrastructure blueprinting/provisioning

+ Experience working with and building CI/CD pipelines

+ Strong expertise in UI, including Vue.js, Angular, and/or React

+ Strong expertise in mobile, including React Native and/or Flutter

+ Strong expertise in cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

+ Strong expertise in back-end, including .NET, Java, and/or Node

+ Strong expertise in Kubernetes and/or Docker

+ Strong expertise in OAuth2.0 and/or OIDC

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Work at Home Guidance

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$139,500 – $192,000 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
