We are seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Provider Data Maintenance Specialist for a Leading Healthcare Company at their Chicago, IL headquarters. . With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.

About the Role: This position is crucial for analyzing, researching, and applying business rules to manage provider information, ensuring accurate data for claims processing, membership assignment, and directory purposes. The role also involves contracting, credentialing, and maintaining facility and professional provider data to support marketing and network contracting across all lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Analyze and process requests from providers regarding additions, deletions, and changes to their information.

+ Ensure accurate provider data is used for claims processing, membership assignment, and directory purposes.

+ Contract, credential, and maintain facility/professional provider data.

+ Support the implementation of special projects and manage project workflow.

+ Assist in tracking various phases of projects.

+ Familiarize and train team members on business rules in network contracting and credentialing.

+ Identify gaps in processes and suggest process improvement strategies.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree plus 1 year of experience with Provider Network contracting and credentialing systems OR 5 years of experience in the Health Care industry.
  • Written and verbal communication skills including interpersonal skills. Skills to develop training materials and act as an advisor to staff
  • Experience and proficiency inn Microsoft Office software products including analytical tools. Experience developing reports.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Subject Matter Expert for the Professional Provider Credentialing Process
  • 2 years of experience with current government sponsored health insurance networks
  • Knowledge of health care delivery systems, claim costing analytics, and provider network adequacy analytics
