Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

- Manage the Quality Management system and facilitates appropriate training for PPL employees.

- Manage the QA team

- Develop audit plans, conduct quality audits, prepare audit reports and communicate findings, including compliance risk.

- Review and evaluate internal audit responses against current industry standards, regulations and guidelines to assure compliance.

- Follow-up on corrective and preventative actions to ensure implementation, compliance and continuing efficacy.

- Develop compliance and quality training as required.

- Revise and/or review, SOPs and checklists to ensure documentation defines the steps necessary to complete required audit tasks.

- Maintain audit files and databases to ensure all documentation is current and complete.

Worksite

This is a fully on-site position in the Mundelein, IL area.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in field of Science/Chemistry or Biology (or related)

- 3 years of cGMP Quality experience (Chemistry with an understanding of Microbiology)

- 3+ years writing deviations and investigations

- Previous experience in leadership preferred
