Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

Job Description

As an Architectural Project Manager, your role will require reporting to Project Principal on various projects and collaborating with both internal and external project team members to ensure project needs are met. You will be responsible for taking projects from Construction Document (CD) phase through construction administration and produce full project documentation sets and renderings. Your job will also involve performing quality assurance and quality control on the work of junior designers to ensure they meet project and code requirements. Additional responsibilities include assisting with delegating work to project team members, maintaining client relationships, communicating project updates, and assisting with project specifications, renderings, and code research/analysis.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science in Architecture, or equivalent required

+ Licensure is a plus, but not required

+ 6 or more years of post-grad traditional experience

+ Experience working on parking structures is preferred; industrial/utility/commercial is transferrable

+ Previous experience leading projects and mentoring team through project completion

+ Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD knowledge, InDesign and Microsoft Suite is required

+ Experience or interest in a client facing role

+ Knowledge of building codes

Work Environment

This position is based in The Loop with an in-office/flexible arrangement, new hires will start in the office until up and running. Chicago office is composed of 18 team members divided into three teams: New Design, Restoration, and Studies/Research. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but flexibility is offered for those who need to come in earlier or leave early. A desktop computer will be provided, with laptops available for use when traveling. Our projects are located all throughout the US, and we encourage project sharing across the company if projects are slower in certain offices
