HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique\.

What your day\-to\-day will be like:

+ As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Hilton, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting software for Solicitation Management RFP \(Request For Proposal\) technology initiatives\.
+ Accept and demonstrate the core principles of development practices and ensure these principles are followed throughout the team\.

How you will collaborate with others:

+ You will partner collaboratively with Architects, other Developers, Product Leads, and vendors to implement and evolve solutions that enable Hilton to maintain its position as a leader in Hospitality\.

What project tasks you will take ownership of:

+ Design, develop, maintain, and support micro\-services\.
+ Lead and guide software developers and QA testers to design and deliver industry\-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance\.
+ Follow the defined Agile methodology delivering industry\-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance\.
+ Ensure quality and consistency of the software architecture across the system and provide day\-to\-day technical guidance to the development teams\.
+ Be a Technology Application and Subject Matter Expert for Security Reviews

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

+ Seven \(7\) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
+ Six \(6\) years of experience in modern micro\-service technologies for building RESTful services, including Java and JSON
+ Six \(6\) years of working experience with Git, Splunk, Kanban/Scrum, Atlassian Suite \(Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, or similar CI/CD platforms\)
+ One \(1\) year of Swagger Codegen experience
+ Previous hospitality experience

It would be useful if you have:

+ Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus six \(6\) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve \(12\) years of Technology related experience
+ Ten \(10\) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
