The JJV Global Data & Analytics team is seeking a Product Manager to head our “Americas” Commercial Data & Analytics Team. The chosen individual will be accountable for providing data products that enable business and IT professionals to make data-driven decisions through self-exploration, certified dashboards, and data products within a flexible cloud-based setting. In order to succeed, The candidate will also collaborate closely with the business to enhance customer experience, reduce time to value, and identify fresh prospects for increasing market share.

Job Description

+ Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.

+ Develops tactical and operational plans to achieve Technical Product Management goals, and communicates plans to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.

+ Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.

+ Designs and oversees product roadmap, as needed.

+ Manages and organizes the sprint backlog for assigned products, ensuring a balance between various requirements.

+ Collaborates with other TPM’s to ensure alignment of DNA dependencies across other domains.

+ Advises managers to ensure functionality of all products and make pricing decisions.

+ Foresees obstacles, manages conflicts, and fosters agreement by comprehending the needs and limitations of involved parties.

+ Ensures compliance with product development timelines and procedures to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives for the Technical Product Management function.

+ Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.

+ Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

+ 6 years of experience in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration.

+ Ability to manage and lead a team of individuals while effectively communicating and interacting with individuals from all levels of the organization.

+ Ability to acquire and interpret data from various sources and propose data integration logic.

+ Ability to propose solutions to various challenges with data: different granularity, data gaps, complex matching logic, multi-language, structured & unstructured; harmonization & normalization.

+ Experience with relevant tools & platforms such as Azure; AWS: EC2, S3, Redshift / RDS; PYTHON; Tableau

+ Experience working with Agile & Kanban methodologies and product management lifecycle; ability to craft user stories, manage backlogs, and define and implement prototypes and MVP’s

+ Experience in project management, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and risk/issue mitigation

+ Knowledge of data architecture principles and effective data management approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Demonstrated dedication to keeping up-to-date with industry trends, effective strategies, and emerging technologies in the field of data governance and management.

+ Understanding of machine learning and/or AI principles in data engineering: data profiling, intelligent alerts, data interpretation & curation

+ Experience working with shared Application Services and offshore development teams.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
