Job Description:

McDonald’s North America Impact team needs a top-notch Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your professional experience in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

You will be a critical team member and will perform a wide variety of specialized and administrative activities. The top candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills and a proven track record of achieving results.

This position will be directly supporting the VP of State & Local Government Relations, Senior Director of U.S. Business Communications, and Senior Director of Brand Communications within our North America Impact department.

Administrative Duties:

+ Providing extensive calendar management and complex meeting planning

+ Participate in the coordination and editing of communications, processes and tasks that align with and support the overall goals of the team and organization

+ Handle all travel arrangements and logistics including itinerary building, and expense report processing

+ Work directly with team to effectively communicate necessary employee matters (i.e. employee transfers, recognitions, anniversaries) to appropriate audiences

+ Develop, consolidate and edit PowerPoint presentations, agendas, meeting summaries and other materials in support of department meetings

+ Project Management: Initiate, organize, and facilitate special and ongoing projects.

+ Finance Management: Travel and expense management as well as invoice processing

Qualifications:

+ Must know MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and WebEx or similar meeting tools

+ Comfortable interacting with Executive level management

+ Strong communication and critical thinking skills

+ Must be very proactive and energetic, self-led

+ Reliable, self-oriented, and able to anticipate needs

+ Demonstrates ability to handle and maintain confidential information

+ Quick learner and ability to understand complex business issues

+ Must be organized, motivated with superior follow-through

+ Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to complete large volumes of work efficiently and effectively

+ Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving business and work environment

Education:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

+ This position leverages skills from varied disciplines and professional backgrounds including:

+ Government Relations/ Public Affairs

+ Project Management

+ Event Planning

+ Communications/ Public Relations

+ Journalism/ English

+ Business Management

+ Law
