Key Responsibilities:

The Manager – A/V Information Technology is responsible and accountable for day-to-day supervision and direction of the 10 -member global, 24×7, audio visual (A/V) installation and support team. The A/V IT Manager has management accountability for the administration and operational support of specific functional duties associated with monitoring, execution, and incident issue of the tier 1 A/V and Microsoft Teams Room environment. Duties include 24X7 incident support of IT related issues that have a direct or indirect impact to the A/V systems. This position requires M-F supervision of the on-site team. The Manager works closely with A/V Engineering to implement new designs and standards.

Interface

+ Advises, coordinates, and evaluates staff work to ensure technical field is providing all users with prompt and accurate services

+ Identifies and leads functional team to solve technical, operational, and organizational issues

+ Partners with various functional teams across the IT departments to support strategic enterprise vision and design

+ Works under general direction of director and or SME level management

Delivery/Support

+ Participates in problem management processes to determine root cause of failures and improve performance and reliability of systems and networks

+ Be responsible for teams to ensure capability of specific computing platforms, network engineering and management is established and supervised

+ Establish consistent and repeatable processes to maintain system operation

+ Ensures operational processes are clearly communicated for implementation

+ Lead and stay abreast of industry trends and anticipate future direction for system platforms

IT Process Management and Administrative

+ Accountable for administrative management of IT professionals, either as direct reports or sourced – HR administration, Salary administration, Time Reporting, etc. Define, prioritize, allocate resources, supervise and provide status reporting of work assignments, projects, programs

+ Provide information and periodic updates to support departmental IT performance metrics, monthly project status reporting and quarterly resource planning review

Organizational Efficiency / People

+ Provide leadership by ensuring department and individuals goals are met. Manages talent using HR supplied recognition tools and participates in workforce planning, staffing, and development

+ Participates in assessing and recommending improvements to the organization structure, roles, and responsibilities

+ Responsible for individual performance assessments and improvement plans

+ Responsible for mentoring, counseling, assisting employees to develop individual career development and training plans

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology of business equivalent

+ 4 – 8+ years equivalent in dept experience in the above related areas

+ Ability to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week on-site)

+ 3 years applicable experience in leading or managing a technical team

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Microsoft Teams Room knowledge and support experience

+ Solid grasp of Lakeside Systrack Diagnostic Tools

+ Experience with Executive level support

+ Problem Solving – Uses meticulous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probes all fruitful sources for answers, can see hidden problems, is excellent at honest analysis, looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answer

+ Knowledge of systems (operating/Integration/architecture) and programming languages/methodologies

+ Understanding of server and desk top based technology, using network systems related to enterprise view
