Network Practice Leader - Central Region

Job Description

The Network Practice Leader (NPL) is responsible for educating and supporting Guardian’s Sales and Client Management partners with local market network insights, changes in competitive positioning, and macro trends, ultimately allowing for more informed and sophisticated discussions with broker partners and employers regarding Guardian’s dental networks.

The NPL position is meant to serve as the liaison between Distribution and Network Management, collaborating with both field leadership as well as sales representatives and client managers to develop local recruiting strategies and reporting packages.

You will:

+ Be accountable for proactively providing Distribution partners with regular reporting on Guardian network size and quality, quarterly analysis of Network 360 competitive positioning, and feedback from Network Recruiters and Provider Relations Representations around network trends and changes at the local market level.

+ Partner closely with Distribution and Underwriting to interpret disruption, GeoAccess and repricing reports, socializing findings with the Regional Network Leaders to form campaigns to target recruitment of high value dentists.

+ Create and deliver regular (monthly, quarterly, etc.) reporting packages to be distributed across each market, showing Guardian network size, quality, and performance (e.g., in-network utilization).

+ Analyze and interpret competitor disruption reports to better understand true competitive positioning and build targeted recruitment plans for new, potential and in force customers.

+ Train sales representatives and client managers on network metrics and results, recruiting best practices, macro considerations (e.g., emergence of DSOs), and network impact on price competitiveness.

+ Attend finalist/broker presentations and stewardship meetings both virtually and onsite with broker/client.

+ Create, manage, and track performance guarantees and recruitment initiatives as needed based on details provided by sales and underwriting.

You Have:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

+ A minimum of 5+ years in at least one core area: provider network recruitment or management, group dental distribution, dental account management, operations, product/marketing

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Strong executive presence and public speaking skills

+ Track record of collaborating cross functionally to solve complex business problems and navigate rapidly evolving macro trends

Travel:

+ Approximately 25-50% travel to various field offices, key partners, and finalist presentations

Location:

+ Preferred location for this position is Chicago, IL. Will consider qualified applicants in other areas of the Central Region.

Salary Range

$82,660.00 – $135,805.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
