Job Description
Job Title: Production Welder
Location: Pontiac
Pay Range: 20.00
What’s the Job?
+ Semi-automatic and manual MIG welding of frames, fixtures, beams, end plates, and other metal/steel parts
+ Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
+ Process and complete inspection, certification and documentation
+ Conduct Welding equipment maintenance
+ Make adjustments to fixtures and welding equipment as required to produce a quality product.
What’s Needed?
+ Able to pass a weld test
+ Demonstrate proficiency in assigned welding techniques
+ working knowledge of fixturing and weld setup parameters.
+ Understanding and interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirements symbology and blueprints
+ Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
