Job Description Summary

Designs, develops and manages assigned products and services for an assigned SBU. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to conceptualizing, translating market research and needs, mobilizing design teams, implementing and launching new products and enhancements. Interprets product performance in conjunction with operating business units and clinical and quality, formal reviews to determine opportunities for improvement in product design and specifications. Ensures products are completed in-scope, on time and within budget.

Job Description

+ Works within multiple product functions, manages complex project plans to ensure development initiatives and the impacted functional remain on schedule.

+ Works closely with other members of the leadership team to design, develop, implement, and ensure the fidelity of the foundational and market and product specific clinical, quality, and care coordination programs, processes, systems, and reporting integration.

+ Utilizes appropriate product and project management methodologies and tools.

+ Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.

+ Provides subject matter expertise and viable product innovations within that market. Supports the maintenance of current solutions.

+ Partners with internal and/or external business constituents to respond to product inquiries.

+ Participates in the evaluation of the clinical model and programs against quality, utilization, and financial benchmarks and goals. Identifies opportunities for improvement.

+ Organizes and manages strategic cross-functional teams to develop new products from concept through implementation for product roadmap activities.

+ May create and present Quarterly Business Reviews for SBU clients. Presents outcomes to appropriate internal/external leaders.

+ Leads on-going communication among key staff who are involved as team members for a given product development effort.

+ Facilitates and/or influences changes to product portfolio that improves competitive position and optimal product performance.

+ Customer product liaison for product initiatives with strategic customers.

+ Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to support the development of sales, member and client communications, sales decks, collateral and toolkits, and product trainings.

+ Ensures a seamless and comprehensive approach to managing quality of care, service, and cost of care.

Responsibilities

+ Master’s degree preferred.

+ For Commercial business unit, strategic planning and large scale business transformation and/or re-engineering project management in Behavioral Health public sector market is highly desirable.

Requirements will vary based on defined business unit

+ Bachelor’s degree required plus experience detailed below or 4 additional years of directly relatable experience in lieu of degree.

+ For positions supporting the Commercial business unit, 3+ years in product development in health care is required.

+ For positions supporting the Pharmacy business unit, 4+ years of experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) with a strong focus on Account Management, Pharmacy Pricing, and or Pharmacy Economics coupled with Presenting Financial data and results to client Senior Leadership required. Minimum of 4 years progressive account management experience for a managed care or pharmacy benefits management (PBM) organization required.

+ Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control, and monitor large-scale, multi-functional project activities.

+ Proven experience interacting with management and providing concise project reporting for review.

+ Ability to perform basic financial and quantitative analysis.

+ Well-developed interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite, including MS Project and Visio.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $66,880.00 – $107,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
