General Purpose of Job

As an Accounting Systems Analyst, you will consult/analyze and deliver on more complex assignments/projects for your assigned area(s) of Accounting Systems responsibility. In this role, you will act as a resource to business and IT partners providing system and process related support including administering and supporting the General Ledger, Asset Management, Legacy General Ledgers, Business Objects Universes, and Finance Essbase environments.

What you’ll be doing

Analyzing and administering all business aspects, including security, for accounting systems platforms within assigned area of responsibility

Championing and enhancing organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.

Consulting/Analyzing on more complex assignments and/or projects.

Identifying opportunities and utilizing system technology to create process improvements; Participating in various initiatives intended to improve specific areas or functions within department.

Maintaining knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assessing the impact, and collaborating with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

Partnering closely with IT, business partners, and business analysts to consult on projects and work requests for planning platforms in all stages of the project(s) including analysis/planning, design, development, testing and implementation.

Partnering with IT to implement efficiencies around ongoing maintenance of systems.

Provide support to Finance Systems internal customers.

Preparing and updating training materials for systems in their area of responsibility.

Serving as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects.

Serving as a resource to team members and to customers of the platform(s).

Drive superior customer support by ensuring all inquiries are appropriately and expeditiously addressed.

Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.

Rotating extended after hours support.

Performing other duties as required.

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves:

3 – 5+ Years of experience with finance systems and accounting that directly relates to the responsibilities for this position

4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)

Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with others in a team environment, Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.

Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.

Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Strong accounting knowledge

Production support experience

Nice-to-haves:

PeopleSoft GL and AM module experience

The pay range for this position is $67,000 – $120,700 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
