Overview
Department:  PepsiCo Global Security

Reports to: Vice President Global Security of North America

This position is responsible for the leadership, and security mitigation and implementation support for ½ of the domestic business.

Responsibilities
The Senior Director of Eastern North America is a critical position in executing the global security strategy for PepsiCo. This role will manage a specialized team consisting of former law enforcement, investigative, and corporate security experts to evaluate and mitigate evolving threats to the company’s people brand and reputation, financial, personnel, fleet, and physical assets. The incumbent will provide strategic direction and overall accountability for PepsiCo locations in the assigned region of assignment. Candidate will also serve as a primary contact for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. This position directly supports over 80,000 domestic employees and more than 1,000 domestic facilities.

Security Strategy Leadership:

Responsible for developing and evolving the domestic security programs; this involves directing domestic teams in creating and maintaining security processes and programs that reduce risks, respond to various threats, and minimize liability exposure.

Team Leadership: Personally responsible the continued fostering a high performing, business integrated security culture. Direct accountability for 2 HQ locations and direct supervision for at least * direct reports. Accountable for the career development of the extended security team.

Executive Protection Support:  Occasionally responsible for providing executive protection support for major events, to include, but not limited to, intelligence gathering, advance report preparation, post standing, security evaluation and augmentation.

Business Continuity Program Support: 
Responsible for leading and overseeing the delivery of exercises and other related events in support of the Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning and Management Program (BCPM).  The BCPM Program is responsible for 85 Top and Standard Risk Manufacturing Sites worldwide, 34 of which are located in North America.  As part of the Sectors and Top 20 Markets Initiative, the BCPM program delivers Crisis Management Training to Executive Crisis Management Teams across the enterprise, to include the PFNA and PBNA ExCom teams. In order to build crisis management capability across the business, the BCPM program is scheduled to roll-out a new Facility Crisis Management app in North America in 2024.
 
Reporting and Analysis:  Generate and present regular reporting on key performance indicators, trends, and insights to senior leadership.

Compensation and Benefits:
* The expected compensation range for this position is between $146,100 - $289,900 based on a full-time schedule.
* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually.
* and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
* Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior security role within a large-scale corporate environment, a deep understanding of modern security practices and technologies, risk assessment methodologies, investigative procedures, and superb interpersonal and communication skill.  The candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Qualifications:
* 20+ years combined experience in law enforcement, corporate security or experience serving with governmental agencies.
* Experience working in / with major multinational corporations.
* Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication capability, the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, strong critical-thinking acumen, creative problem solving, and crisis management experience are necessary.
* Must be available for primary travel to sites throughout North America and on occasion global deployment.
* Bachelor’s degree with concentration in management, security, criminal justice, law enforcement technology or similar experience
* Master’s degree or advanced corporate security management certificates / training preferred.
