JOB DESCRIPTION

The Workers' Compensation Claims Department is currently seeking a Compliance Examiner. This is a new role created to support the Compliance Directors and Chief Technical Officer while working closely with discipline leadership to develop business solutions and drive education in all facets of Compliance. All employees are required to work from a regional claim office (Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Alpharetta, or New Haven) for a minimum of 3 days per week.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Manage CMS data corrections and Conditional Payment liens.
  • Execute and lead strategies to assist with CMS adherence.
  • Manage, monitor, and track compliance data relating to penalties, fines, liens, and payment compliance within the WC Discipline.
  • Create spreadsheets and other tracking & monitoring reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Prior workers' compensation claims or compliance experience a plus.
  • Project and/or Change Management experience that involves coordination of cross-discipline teams.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Proven organizational and communication skills for interaction with internal/external business partners.
  • Comfortable designing and delivering training curriculums.
