Job Summary

Medline Industries has an immediate opening for an Operations Specialist supporting our Urology and Personal Protection product divisions! This position will be a hybrid role between work from home and our offices in Northfield, IL and Chicago, IL. The Operations Specialist will create, review and analyze reports and use the information to formulate and implement plans with supporting teams to mitigate service level risks. This person will provide support services to the Division(s) with a primary focus of supporting the Product Management teams.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor divisional inbox to support request from PM such as rush receiving, breakdown, etc.

  • Manage Surplus Levels Partner with Product Managers & Inventory Management where needed to support surplus depletion - perform scrap, RTV orders as necessary.

  • Manage Service Levels Partner with Inventory Management where needed to support service - expedite delivery of products, review inventory on hold.

  • Work with Purchasing & AP to resolve vendor issues review overbill notices, review problem tickets, process debit and credit memos.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on all data and reporting systems (SAP, Nquire, etc) and provide training to Division personnel as needed.

 

Required Experience:

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year relevant business or administrative support experience.

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels).

  • Intermediate analysis and math skills.

  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree.
