Job Description

Medline is seeking a highly skilled AI Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes and technology systems, developing functional specifications, and driving AI initiatives that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and project management capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Process Analysis: - Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing business processes to identify opportunities for AI integration. - Map current processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define AI-driven process enhancements.
  • Technology Analysis: - Evaluate current technology systems and infrastructure to assess their suitability for AI initiatives. Formulate plan where business opportunity exists but system gaps are a constraint. - Work with Business and Data SMEs to identify the right data sources and perform EDA to assess current state of data and if its fit for experimentation. Articulate any data gaps and formulate plan for collect data for future experimentation. - Identify gaps and recommend appropriate AI technologies and tools to meet business needs. - Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and trends, providing insights on their potential impact and application.
  • Functional Specifications: - Develop detailed functional specifications for AI projects, translating business requirements into technical requirements. - Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of AI solutions based on functional specifications.
  • Project Management: - Lead AI projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. - Create and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to drive AI initiatives. - Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: - Monitor production models for availability, and statistical and business performance. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and technology systems. - Foster a culture of innovation by promoting best practices and new AI methodologies. - Mentor and support team members, encouraging professional development and knowledge sharing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Operations Research/Mgmt., Computer Science, or related field. Masters preferred.

 

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience with progressive growth working for a large organization or consulting firm on digital transformation initiatives.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Project Management (Agile/SCRUM). Product Roadmapping. Data Analysis (Pandas/Numpy in Python, intermediate SQL, Advance Excel, intermediate Tableau). Working knowledge of Chatbots GenAI, LLM, NLP, Azure or AWS AI cloud solutions.
