Job Description

This position is responsible for drafting, reviewing, organizing and managing sales supply and service contracts, nondisclosure agreements, and other specialized sales agreements as requested.

Responsibilities include: drafting contracts, amendments, and addendums, maintaining contract templates, following internal process guidelines, facilitate contract signing, archiving/storing contracts, handling contract termination, and answer contract questions from internal Medline colleagues.

 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft/amend customer contract documents as requested by field sales representatives and leaders. Ensure contract documents are reviewed and managed consistently in accordance with sales/customer requests, standardcontracting practices, and Medline policies.
  • Communicate contract details to other departments within established turnaround times accurately and within established turnaround times.
  • Work with other Medline sales organizations and internal departments to align contracting efforts on corporate customer agreements spanning the whole continuum of care and to ensure proposed terms can be supported by the respective functional area.
  • Resolve questions from internal customers regarding contract language. Escalate any specific issues to leadership or legal department to gather reviews and approvals.
  • Maintain electronic contract data files and archive. Assist in the maintenance and development of contract management software.
  • Assist in maintaining contract templates in an organized fashion. Participate in annual/semiannual review of templates and contract language within templates in order to continually update and foster our most up to datelegal document.

 

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 4 years of contract administration or paralegal experience.

 

Additional

  • Excellent PC skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and esignature service platforms (Adobe Sign, DocuSign).
  • Experience with sales and legal contracting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of contract language, terms, and format.
  • Excellent writing/editing skills.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable collaborating with sales and senior leadership within the organization.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and good analytical/problemsolving skills.
  • Works well with structured timelines.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Pre-Law, Finance or relevant field of study.

 

Certification / Licensure

  • Paralegal certification.
