We are currently looking for full-time – Human Resource Office Support

Starting at $38,000 – contingent upon experience, education, etc.


Summary: This position will be responsible for the administrative support functions of the Human Resources department. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evening and/or weekend hours.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities include accurately filing documents and timely upkeep of HR records to ensure compliance including; personnel files and employee medical records (etc.)
  • Assists the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for company employees.
  • Assist the HR team in conducting new-employee orientations, administering pre-employment tests, following up on reference checks, etc.
  • Receives and distributes department mail.
  • Compiles reports from the HRIS database or systems as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains personnel files to ensure all data is filed accurately and up-to-date for external audits and contractual compliance.
  • Provides general administrative support such as arranging meetings, processing confidential material,
  • preparing correspondence, and ordering supplies.
  • Participates in recruitment efforts for nonexempt personnel.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resources information confidential.
  • Provide guidance regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits to employees and/or job applicants.
  • Prepares and distributes the monthly birthday and anniversary cards to employees.
  • Maintains and develops positive working relationships with employees and external partners.
  • Provide support and assistance at the front desk when needed.
  • Good communication, verbal and written, professionalism and customer service.
Requirements:

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as one to three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Associates degree preferred.
  • Administrative training is required, two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work independently.
