Description

Are you gifted with coordinating and planning the delivery of employment services? The supervisor will concentrate on recruitment and placement issues for assigned programs, review and supervise all cases and assist clients and staff in locating appropriate work experiences and employment opportunities for clients.
What you'll do
Ensures all programs meet contractual requirements. Develops and recommends plans for programmatic services. Reviews effectiveness of services and efficiency of service delivery.
Supervises staff; conducts weekly supervision to monitor staff and client progress including discussion of progress notes, billings, reports and communication with funders. Interviews, hires, trains and establishes performance expectations for staff.
Provides supervision to staff regarding case management of clients and progress toward the achievement of their employment goals.
Ensures staff conducts billing procedure and reports accurately and timely. Compiles data and completes monthly and quarterly required reports. Ensures accurate input of data, collection, submission of reports to funding bodies, and program progress reports. Meets all deadlines.
Works with funder to monitor data inputted into the funder database systems and file maintenance requirements. Establishes and maintains appropriate working relationships with DRS Counselors, funders, referral sources, and stakeholders. Attends all required meetings.
Develops, coordinates, and implements all program aspects to ensure quality services are provided to the clients.
Assists with the development and implementation of marketing plans to expand client recruitment for youth services. Coordinates with other appropriate staff
Implements Agency policy and procedure according to legal, professional, accreditation and funding bodies' requirements. Designs, revises and monitors methods and procedures according to program requirements. Monitors client's case records.
Represents JCFS to outside professional, lay and government groups in a positive, professional manner. Participates in appropriate professional, civic and community associations. Maintains liaison with other JCFS departments and services.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in appropriate behavioral science from four-year college or university.
One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
Access to a reliable vehicle required.
Knowledge of the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Rehabilitation Services, Workforce Investment Opportunity Act and program requirements including the Career Connect and Illinois WorkNet system desired.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, consumers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion; interpret technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Supervises direct service staff. Interviews, hires, and trains staff; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance on a timely basis; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems. Conducts weekly supervisions with staff and ensures quality of services.
Ensures that programs achieve outcomes.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and applicable laws.
What we require
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in appropriate behavioral science from four-year college or university. Master's degree in social service or related field preferred.
Three to five years supervisory experience preferred.
Minimum of three years previous related experience preferred.
Knowledge of Illinois Department of Human Services Department of Rehabilitation Services contract requirements preferred.
Local travel required. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, possess a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation to locations that may not be accessible via public transportation

Compensation:The minimum compensation for this position is $62,400 annually.
