Your Job
The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of Lisle. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of Technology systems and services, providing technical support to user, staff, and adhering to policies and procedures to follow up on day-to-day task and/or project.

Our Team
The Site Administrator works closely with the Facility Technology (FT) and Local Facilities team and other departments to ensure that the Lisle needs are met efficiently and effectively.

What You Will Do
Infrastructure Management:
Involved in installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including but not limited to Camera, Conference Room & Data Center/Closet.
Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and security of all Facilities systems and services at the site.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Coordinate local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks issues with other teams.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct regular training sessions with team members and users on FT systems and best practices.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce FT security policies and procedures to protect the site's data and systems.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific requirements.
Project Management:
Plan and execute FT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new installations.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and the FT team to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Asset Management:
Ensure all FT assets are properly documented and tracked.
Collaboration and Communication:
Liaise with the FT team to align site FT operations with overall strategy.
Communicate effectively with site staff and management regarding FT issues, updates, and initiatives.
Provide regular reports on FT activities, performance, and incidents to management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in technology support or administration.
Understanding of Windows Client/Server operating systems.
Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. equipment.
Ability to work in various environments (e.g., including office, lab and data center settings).

What Will Put You Ahead
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
