We are seeking Hockmeyer Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Hockmeyer l Machine and on TPM activities. As a Hockmeyer Operator you will be responsible for:
Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings.
Packagingfinished product in various containers and apply labels
Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition.Shift auto and manual steps
Mix Batch: Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
Canning
Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
Completingscheduled maintenance,and troubleshooting procedures
Helping with repacksQualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
Have 3 months of work related experience
Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
Have attention to detail
Be reliableto work assigned shift
Be flexible to work overtime as required
Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
Have good attendanceand punctuality
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
Forklift experience, but we can train you
Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
Previous experience within the Ink IndustryAdditional Information
