Role Summary

The Director, Labor Relations is part of the Company's global Labor & Employment Legal Team and will serve as a strategic partner to Rivian's People Team and other key stakeholders, providing support and guidance on a variety of labor relations matters to promote a positive employee experience and ensure legal compliance.  This role will report to the Head of Labor & Employment and collaborate with other senior leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities

This is what you'll do:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all labor relations matters, including union organizing drives, union campaigns, petitions, collective bargaining, mediation, arbitration and administrative charges
Provide day-to-day advice to legal, human resources, and business teams on abroad range of labor matters, including issue spotting, strategy, planning, compliance, and project execution
Monitor employee climate to identify workforce opportunities and trends, and recommend proactive solutions based on business needs and best practices
Develop and implement labor relations strategies and programs that support the company's business objectives
Work in collaboration with the People Team on the development, administration, interpretation and application of labor and employment policies and programs
Monitor and analyze labor relations trends and provide strategic guidance on labor-specific issues to senior leadership
Work closely with business leaders to proactively respond to shifting business needs and associated labor implications
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Conduct training for management and relevant stakeholders on labor relations topics
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, learning, and ongoing improvement within a cross-functional team

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range:$150,000-200,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
