Position: Japanese Bilingual Inventory Coordinator
Location: Schaumburg, IL (on-site)
Work hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Temp to Hire, Full-Time
Salary : $20.00 per hour

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and adjusting inventories to minimize product obsolescence and stockouts. They are also responsible for effective communication with vendors and clients to ensure accurate and efficient operations. The ideal candidate for this role must be bilingual in Japanese and English, with advanced proficiency in both languages. Basic Excel skills are also required. Additionally, the candidate should have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for transportation purposes.


Responsibilities:
Receive orders from customers and place orders with overseas factories.
Handle logistics and lead times for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Manage inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels.
Communicate daily with overseas factories to confirm orders, schedules, and inventory status.
Create shipping documents and coordinate shipments with third-party logistics providers.
Drive a vehicle to transport stored items or pick up items from carriers such as FedEx or USPS.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English (both spoken and written).
Basic Excel skills for data management and analysis.
Valid driver's license.
Access to a personal vehicle for transportation purposes.
