Overall Purpose
The Head of Operations - Zelle, reporting to the General Manager of Zelle, will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business. This role has the dual responsibility of coordinating the end-to-end achievement of the Zelle growth plan as well as ownership of key operations functions that are critical.

Essential Functions

Work with the General Manager to outline business objectives and cascade the annual plan into monthly and quarterly operating plans with clear interim operational metrics and business results

Set the growth metrics, target resource allocations, and project manage across the Zelle team to ensure key functions are aligned, including marketing, risk, technology, etc.

Build a culture of cross-functional collaboration as well as analytically driven progress tracking and business management; provide exceptional leadership in building and developing highly engaged, high-performance teams

Run a weekly/monthly metrics-driven process to monitor on-going business performance, respond to changes in business performance and re-balance resource allocation to ensure the business performs in line with the targets and expectations; adjust and re-align the teams' targets as the business grows

Lead weekly/monthly forums with the functional teams (sales, product, marketing, technology, operations) tocollaborate and improve key business outcomes

Own the coordination of the Zelle agenda with the working teams at participating FIs to drive business objectives, roadmap alignment, and thought leadership across functional groups, including product, design, marketing, customer support, etc

Ensure that the team's work process and product are in line with EWS's regulatory/compliance requirements; support the company's commitment to risk management and protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Provide effective leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance teams

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of BA/BS degree; MBA preferred

Experienced business unit leader with a general manager mindset with 10 or more years in management roles

Demonstrated ability to manage business processes and priorities via operational and financial metrics; brings clear preferences and practices on analytical frameworks

Experience working in regulated, consumer-facing financial services is a must; experience with payments and P2P payments is ideal

Strong respected leader with strong working relationships with senior level counterparts at large financial institutions, and proven ability to influence outcomes with integrity and professionalism

Demonstrated success developing and retaining highly engaged, high performing teams and aligning top talent to meet business objectives

Prior experience working with acquisition/trial/repeat usage funnels in a cross-functional environment

Direct experience with customer-facing operational and risk/compliance processes.

Experience working with merchants and other corporate customers

Familiarity with designing and managing rules-driven payment networks

Familiarity with risk management best practices in regulated financial institutions

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers.
