Job Description

These full-time positions are now available to ensure that our buildings are maintained at the highest levels for staff and those who visit our facilities. Requirements for our team members include:
* Individuals will be responsible for maintenance at all Heritage facilities in Macon and DeWitt counties.
* Ability to work independently with supervision or training on maintenance items. .
* Assistance with generalized cleaning of Heritage's main facility with assistance at off-site locations on an as-needed basis.
* Successful candidate will have an eye for detail and be able to see issues needing attention before they are reported.
* Ability to be pro-active in ensuring building inspections are completed on a routine basis.
* Individual will be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions.
* Snow and ice removal during inclement weather.
* Responds to Maintenance e-mail to ensure that maintenance requests are complete.
* Responsible for picking up of orders from outside vendors, as well as delivery of supplies/other items to Heritage off-site locations.
* Assist Director of Operations with ensuring Heritage buildings are up to code and maintained in accordance with OSHA and CARF standards.
* Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds and over on a regular basis. Occasional heavy lifting and power tool operation may be required.
It is anticipated this position will work 40 hours per week (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; occasional weekend work may be required).
Educational requirements include a minimum of a high school diploma/equivalency documentation with 1 to 3 years of demonstrated training or experience in facilities maintenance is required, Valid drivers' license, reliable personal automobile, and proof of automobile insurance are essential for these positions.
