SUMMARY The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a part of the corporate Talent Acquisition function, reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role you will be responsible for nonexempt and exempt recruiting efforts for United Alloy with a primary focus on identifying talent for the Quincy, IL location. Be a part of helping us grow our new location opening in 2025! WHAT YOU’LL DO

+ Partner with internal hiring managers to understand recruitment and skill set needs for all positions.

+ Perform job analysis and determine essential duties, responsibilities, and qualifications to create a job description.

+ Access applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience actively engaged behaviors during prescreening, interviewing and selection process.

+ Prepare offer letters and initiate all pre-employment processes (drug screens, physicals, and background checks).

+ Facilitate and deliver a consistent and effective onboarding program.

+ Assist as a liaison between new hires and trainers to ensure a smooth transition into new hire training program.

+ Maintaining candidate pipeline using a variety of recruiting/sourcing methods to meet performance metrics.

+ Utilizing and maintaining ATS information for candidates and tracking and reporting.

+ Create, update, and maintain all job postings internally and externally.

+ Collaborate with marketing to develop social media communications, events, and materials for recruiting prospective UA employees.

+ Create and maintain strong alliances with trade schools, post-secondary institutions, training institutions, and community partners to establish trusted relationships and a continuous funnel of applicants.

+ Actively participate as an essential member of the Talent Acquisition team, supporting efficiency and team goals.

+ Work on projects that may be assigned and may assist on other corporate initiatives as directed.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

+ 5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.

+ Experience with high-volume full cycle recruiting in Manufacturing/Warehouse/Operations environment highly preferred.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

+ This will be an onsite position in Quincey, IL

+ Minimal travel will be required.

+ If selected for the role, a background check will be conducted .
