We currently have an immediate need for the following: Job Title: Data Delivery Lead Location: Lake County, IL USA Compensation: $67.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance. Job Description:Data Delivery Lead required for leading end to end Business Intelligence and Datawarehouse solutions. This role would require working with our cross-functional teams, architecting, modeling, and designing data, dashboard and reporting solutions across multiple business functions.
Requirements:+ Work with a cross-functional team of developers and business analysts to deliver data and analytics initiatives.
+ Define, develop and implement data engineering, data warehousing, and data analytics solutions.
+ Create and review technical designs that align with our business segments.
+ Possess advanced level knowledge of the tools and processes required, and function well in large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional data platform environment.
+ Work on developing dashboards and reports on different data sources like Big Data, Snowflake, Oracle, and other technology stack, text files and excel documents.
+ Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema), and work with large data sets.
+ Oversees feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised projects/ programs.
+ Ability to plan, control and supervise multiple BI (business intelligence) projects and activities simultaneously.
+ Leading small group of offshore developers on multiple parallel projects.
+ Assigns work assignments to team members and directs activities, providing technical guidance and completing individual tasks as needed.
+ Working with IT management, product owners, business managers and business analysts, lead the effort to evaluate user requests and determine solutions to business problems.
+ Expert knowledge of IT systems development, including process mapping, budgeting and timeline creation.
+ Responsible for liaison between IT and Operations team to drive closure to any urgent on demand issues.
Qualifications:+ 10+ years of overall IT experience in BI/DW (Data Warehouse) Analytics space.
+ 4 years bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.
+ Proven experience designing and implementing solutions in modern data warehouses (like Snowflake) including data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
+ Strong proficiency in relevant languages and databases (SQL, Python, PySpark, SnowPark, etc.) for data manipulation, data storage, and automation tasks.
+ Solid understanding of ETL/ Orchestration tools (Informatica ETL (IICS and PowerCenter), AWS Glue, etc.
+ BI/DW and Analytics experience will include one or more of the following roles: Data Delivery Lead, Data/ System Analyst, Data/ Reporting Developer.
+ Proven track record in project delivery involving business, functional and technical teams.
+ Proven experience identifying strategies for risk mitigation to reduce or eliminate issues.
+ Experience with leading teams, demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
+ Experience with Service Operations in a multi-sourced and multi-project environment.
+ Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, is preferable.
+ Experience in Lifesciences commercial operations domain is preferred, but not required.
+ An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment.
+ A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to learn quickly.
Spotlight Call Notes:+ What are the must have skills from the technology side that are non-negotiable? Strong knowledge of data warehouse/BI area. Should have design visualization solutions using Power BI or Qlik. SQL, ETL, informatica, Python preferably, Snowflake.
+ Candidate should be local as this is a hybrid role – should be in the office 4 days per week.
+ Someone who is a product lead, delivery lead in the data space on both the front-end and back-end site.
+ Someone who has worked in pharma is preferrable.
+ They will be doing 50% of the hands-on development.
+ 6-month contract for now but will look on extending if the candidate is successful.
+ AWS Glue experience is preferred but not required.
+ Both BI and ETL focused position.
+ Must have skills from Tech side? Data role we need strong knowledge and has experience working and growing into a data lead from design and visualization perspective. ETL is preferably in informatica, language is Python or other top languages and on database side is heavy experience in Snowflake. Also working with onshore/offshore teams able to gather requirements and design dashboards and implement solutions
+ Experienced in working with onsite offshore model and is able to participate in UAT and gathering requirements, leading dev teams, creating data visualizations and developing and implementing data solutions
