If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for anAdministrative Sales Assistant to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

The Administrative Sales Assistant is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the sales organization. This role will support managers and others to ensure all interactions between the sales team and others are positive and productive. You will assist the department in ensuring things run smoothly. You will have the opportunity to:

+ Support field sales with pricing, deductions, and trade deal management.

+ Research, analysis, and reporting on status of trade deals.

+ Provide administration/power user support to the specific sales systems and software.

+ Providing support for field sales in the clearing of deductions and reviewing & maintaining bid and sample requests.

+ Communicating pricing issues with the customer and working directly with Claims regarding re-bills.

+ Assisting department with clearing “shipped not billed” with customers.

+ Maintaining incentive programs and broker agreements.

+ Providing reports pertaining to forecasts, operational results, accounts receivable, customer program & broker payments, etc.

+ Preparing presentations and assisting with meeting arrangements.

+ Manages Finances for Albertsons:

+ Manages Exceedra.

+ Creates contracts (Nopas and Albertsons Partner Portal).

+ Clears deductions.

+ Tracks/validates/communicates deduction spend by division.

+ Manages 1WS for Albertsons.

+ Shopper Marketing – creates check requests, clears deductions, and manages SH Coupons.

+ J4U (aka B4U) – tracks and clears deductions.

+ AMP (retail management) – tracks, verifies, and clears deductions.

+ Manages Advantage Administrators:

+ Simplifies training and answers Exceedra questions.

+ Responds/directs questions on RCP.

+ Monitors Exceedra status.

+ Monitors deduction log.

+ Assists Division Managers:

+ Establishes positive relationship with Albertsons divisions and direct customers.

+ Takes calls/emails for DMs when unavailable.

+ Supports new item forecasting.

+ Maintains knowledge of RCP policies and contacts.

We need you to have:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ 2+ years of related professional administrative experience.

+ Proficient in MS Office.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.

+ Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

+ Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.

+ Ability to be discreet with confidential information.

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.

+ Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Icing on the cake:

+ BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.

+ Previous experience in customer service and sales.
