Description

The role involves working within a team to structure, analyze and transform data from complex sources into actionable business insights. It also requires collaboration with data architects, data engineers, and the analytics reporting team to support organizational needs and development.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and structure data from various sources to provide actionable business insights

- Work closely with data architects and data engineers to gather and structure data

- Collaborate with the analytics reporting team to identify appropriate data sources and analysis methodologies

- Present findings and recommendations from data analysis to management and analytic reporting team

- Profile data and formulate data flows and business logic

- Document and establish business measures with corresponding criteria

- Reconcile data across systems and sources

- Utilize knowledge of database management and file access methods

- Work extensively with SQL Server, SSAS, Power BI

- Understand and apply denormalized and star-schema (dimensional) physical models and logical modeling concepts

- Develop Power Apps to augment ingestion of data to SSAS Cubes

- Develop C# and .NET applications to maintain SSAS metadata and processing plans

- Develop SSIS packages to augment ingestion of data and automate processing of SSAS Cube

Requirements – Proficiency in Cube Development is mandatory for this role.

- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power BI is necessary.

- Familiarity with SSAS and SSAS Cubes is required.

- Ability to work with Dax Technologies is essential.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus. Technology Doesn’t Change the World, People Do.®
