We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our client’s company. Your focus will be on maintaining and improving the infrastructure of their company’s complex network systems. This role demands hands-on proficiency with network operations, particularly involving Cisco, Cisco ASA, Meraki, wireless systems, and voice technology. Responsibilities:

+ Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network operations using Cisco, Cisco ASA, and Meraki technologies.

+ Install and configure wireless network systems and optimize performance based on applicable standards.

+ Operate and administer firewall configurations to ensure the security and integrity of the network.

+ Implement VOIP and other necessary communication systems.

+ Perform network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications.

+ Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.

+ Collaborate with executive management and department leads to assess near and long-term network capacity needs.

+ Develop and implement guidelines for network procedures and standards.

+ Update operating procedures and network documentation to reflect current network operations practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or a related qualification.

+ Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco, and Meraki networking technologies.

+ Strong understanding of VoIP implementations, operations, and maintenance.

+ Profound understanding of network security and experience with firewall operations.

+ CCNA, CCNP, or similar certification preferred.

+ Proven experience with wireless technology.

+ Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

+ Ability to work in a team environment and interact with diverse groups across all levels of the organization.
