Senior Accounting manager ( Hybrid role )
Fortune 100 company seeking Senior Accounting Manager in the manufacturing and distribution industry, based in Downers Grove, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, financial statement preparation, hands on month end close, budgeting and forecasting, responsible for audit, managing SAP systems, warranty accounitng a plus ; inventory accounting a must and supervising a team of two for this 200 million dollar division of a multibillion-dollar company. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise and guide a team of staff accountants and senior accountants.
- Utilize SAP systems effectively for accounting and financial processes.
- Implement and monitor budgeting and forecasting strategies.
- Conduct month-end reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and manage related tasks.
- Interact with executives and maintain strong interpersonal relationships within the team.
- Handle revenue recognition, accruals inventory, and warranty for individual clients and installments.
- Understand distribution channels and different marketing programs to support business operations.

- Demonstrated experience in Auditing and process improvement
- SAP software experience a must
