Robert Half is partnering with a highly esteemed personal injury law firm specializing in motor vehicle accidents who is seeking a Litigation Scheduling Paralegal to join their team. This position is downtown Chicago and operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days from home).

Key Responsibilities:

+ Effectively manage a case load ranging from 75 to 100 cases

+ Arrange and schedule critical events like hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations

+ Coordinate and schedule client meetings including those for discovery, deposition preparation, and trial readiness

+ Maintain case notes regarding scheduling in case management program (FileVine)

+ Manage attorney’s calendar

+ Confirm and validate attorney’s appointments daily

+ Draft deposition notices, hearing notices, and scheduling orders

+ Prepare client letters, supplemental demand letters, and various other correspondence

Qualifications:

+ Proficient in personal injury law, preferably matters involving motor vehicle accidents

+ Minimum of 2 yrs. (5 preferred) working in high volume personal injury case litigation

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe, and Case Management (FileVine)

+ Exceptional time management skills and detail oriented
