Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence at the Mount Prospect, Illinois office (3 days in the office per week).
The Dremel Direct-to-Consumer Intern will be a vital member of the Dremel Direct-to-Consumer team. This all-encompassing role will play an integral part in the global Direct-to-Consumer execution collaborating with many cross-functional teams to achieve the company’s mission. Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
+ Aiding in the development and execution of bringing physical and digital products to market.
+ Managing and organizing online shop information via Dremel.com and Shopify which includes but not limited to: shop activities, setup, orders, and promotions.
+ Researching and benchmarking other D2C companies and make impactful business suggestions to improve the current e-shop.
+ Collaborating closely with our Mexicali, MX location on new product manufacturing and distribution.
+ Supporting the team on price compliance, launches, customer presentations, Amazon collaborations, and end-user delivery.
Qualifications
+ Currently enrolled in or recent graduate (within 6 months) of an accredited program in Digital/Product Marketing, E-Commerce, or Business Management.
+ Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
+ Ability to work in office and remotely: Hybrid position with at least 60% a week in office (Mount Prospect).
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
+ Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and meet deadlines.
+ Strong computer skills and an aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
+ Experience working with Shopify or a related e-commerce platform (preferred).
+ Working or academic experience in the e-commerce industry (preferred).
+ Experience with SAP, GIS, Aprimo, MPE (preferred).
