Expected salary range of $111,600 to $124,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this role is to provide functional business analyst support for our HRIS and perform system configurations to meet Payroll & Payroll Tax business requirements. Key responsibilities include leveraging and optimizing the use of our HR systems and solutions with a strong focus on continuous improvement of the operation and a commitment to service delivery excellence.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Provide primary functional HRIS analyst support through system configuration and process improvement analysis and execution, with a focus on Payroll & Payroll Tax.

+ Serve as project lead for either internal or external projects within assigned functional areas.

+ Document processes, identify HR concerns, and resolve application issues.

+ Act as the primary resource for evaluating the potential and feasibility of process automation for business owners.

+ Extract and compile information as requested using existing reports or reporting tools, or by utilizing ad-hoc queries.

+ Troubleshoot defects from analysis through remediation, testing, and deployment.

+ Serve as a liaison between HR and IT, responsible for generating requirements and prioritizing tasks based on business needs.

+ Write and execute test scripts for regression testing and functional integration testing of all integration points between applications, components, and services.

+ Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in various HR or IT-related positions. In lieu of degree, minimum of 9 years of experience.

+ Minimum 4 years experience working with enterprise solutions or HR IT experience with a focus on Payroll and Payroll Tax.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Certification and/or experience in Oracle HCM or equivalent HRIS.

+ In-depth knowledge of enterprise Payroll and Timekeeping systems.

+ Real-world experience with file and data manipulation.

+ Knowledge of SQL, query building and experience working with database objects/elements.

+ Strong problem solving and business analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to independently collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into functional specifications, with minimal supervision.

+ Effective oral and written communications, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals with varying levels of technical and business expertise.

+ Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience in leading projects from development through implementation.
